DGBL

DGBL- Digital Game Based Learning
DGBL is a way for people to learn in a more hands on way by playing games such as Leap Frog for younger kids or Pathways. This is a more interesting way for kids to learn because kids don't really like to sit in front of the teacher and just watch them run their mouth for 45 minutes *hint hint*. This is a more interesting way for kids to learn because it helps them out academics wise and it also relates to them more than a text book. Kids are more interested in this type of learning style because it is more hands on an interactive then what most teachers can just offer by just teaching the class. DGBL's don't even have to be involved in school. There are some of them are just used to help to learn how to do things in everyday life such as cooking games and music games that are more interactive like Dj Hero etc. Most people don't like this form of learning because they believe that  it makes kids spend less time pout and about or outside playing sports things of the more social area of life. A lot of parents would prefer their kids to read a book but a lot of kids learn in a different way a more hands on and interactive way.

Some Examples of DGBL's would be:
Guitar Hero
Leap Frog
Dance Dance Revolution
