Service Day 1

The first day of service went just as expected. I showed up to my site at 10 o'clock along with 5 other Cm students for our fist day at the Lyndon Pilot school. We all got separated into different age groups such as I spent my day with 1st graders and 3rd graders. My 1st grade class that I spent the first half of the day with was a class full of SL students. The SL class is a class of students who have Spanish as their first language at home and are learning English as their second language. The majority of their class was spent with them learning basic phonetic tones and simple words. After Lunch we spent the second half of the day with my older students who are the third graders and we basically just corrected their test and helped them with their selection of books in the library.
